વરદ હસ્ત પ્રભુ તમારો સદાયે રહેજો જીવન સહારો.
वरद हस्त प्रभु तमारो, सदाय रहेजो जीवन सहारो.

કરકમળના કૃપા કિરણથી અંતર અજવાળજો અમારું
રાગ ને દ્વેષ કામ ને ક્રોધ હઠાવી જીવન કરી દો ન્યારું… વરદ હસ્ત પ્રભુ તમારો

करकमळ ना कृपाकिरण थी, अंतर अजवाळजो अमारुं
राग ने द्वेष, काम ने क्रोध, हठावी जीवन करी दो न्यारुं ... वरद हस्त.

પાપ ત્રિતાપ કલેશ કપાજો જ્યોતિ જગાવો નિર્મળ હૃદયમાં
પાવન જીવન સદા સમર્પો પ્રભુ તમારા ચરણ કમળમાં... વરદ હસ્ત પ્રભુ તમારો

पाप त्रिताप क्लेश कपाजो, ज्योति जगावो निर्मल हृदयमां,
पावन जीवन सदा समर्पो, प्रभु तमारा चरण कमळमां .. वरद हस्त.

રચના સમયના મનોભાવો

પૂ. શ્રી યોગેશ્વરજી જેવી સંતવિભૂતિ સાથે 1978 માં દક્ષિણ ભારતની યાત્રા કરવાનું મને સદ્ ભાગ્ય પ્રથમ વાર મળ્યું.

અજન્ટાની ઐતિહાસિક ભૂમિ ઉપર ગુફાઓ જોઇને પૂ.શ્રી નદીકિનારે બેઠા. ફોટોગ્રાફીનો શોખ હોવાથી હું કેમેરો લઇ પૂ.શ્રી પાસે પહોંચી ગઇ. તસ્વીર લેવાની તૈયારી કરી ત્યાં જ પૂ,શ્રીએ એક હાથ ઊંચો કર્યો. પૂ.શ્રી તસ્વીર  લેવાની ના પાડે છે એવું મને લાગ્યું, જેથી હું નિરાશ થઇ, કેમેરો નીચે મૂકી દીધો. 'ફોટો પાડો' - પૂ.શ્રીના શબ્દો સંભળાયા અને એ વરદ અભય હસ્તની પૂ.શ્રી ની મુદ્રાવાળી મેં તસ્વીર ઝડપી લીધી. યાત્રા આગળ ચાલી વિચારોની સૃષ્ટિમાં એ વરદ હસ્ત વિચરવા લાગ્યો.

શું આજે પૂ.શ્રીએ પોતાના વરદ હસ્તથી મારા જીવનને આશીર્વાદ  આપ્યા ?તો પછી એ આશીર્વાદ સૂચક મુદ્રાથી જીવન પાવન બનીને એ મહાન વિરાટ વ્યક્તિત્વને સમર્પિત થાય તો ? એ ભાવો મહીંથી 'વરદ હસ્ત પ્રભુ તમારો' નું સર્જન થયું.

For the first time in 1978, I had the blessed opportunity to accompany Yogeshwarji on a pilgrimage to South India. After our visit to the Ajanta caves, Yogeshwarji was seated on the banks of the river. Due to my interest in photography I had a camera with me. I went to take a photo of Yogeshwarji. Just as I prepared to click, Yogeshwarji raised his hand.

I felt disappointed as I thought that He was instructing me not to take the photo. I put the camera down. But very next moment, I heard Yogeshwarji, “Take the photo” and quickly I captured His ‘blessings offering’ pose. Our journey continued thereafter. My thoughts began revolving around that pose.

Did Yogeshwarji bless my life with his blessed hand? Would my life become pure and worthy of an offering to Him? “Varad Hasta Prabhu Tamaro” was created with such thoughts and feelings.
